OLATHE, Kan.  (8/28/25) – The Williams Baptist University men's soccer team took its first loss of the young season by the final score of 5-0 against eighth-ranked MidAmerica Nazarene on Thursday afternoon.

MNU outshot the Eagles 20-2 in the contest, landing 14 of those shots on target.  WBU did not manage a shot on goal in the match.

The Pioneers struck for the first goal of the match in the 11th minute, then scored again in the 42nd to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.

MidAmerica Nazarene scored three more times in the second half to put the game out of reach for Williams.

WBU will be back in action on Saturday, Aug. 30 against Benedictine (KS) in Atchison, Kan.  Kick-off is set for 11 a.m. from Legacy Field.
