Williams Men’s Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (6/29/26)  – The Williams Baptist University men's soccer team revealed its 2026 schedule on Monday afternoon, featuring three top 25 opponents.

The Eagles will face three teams that finished last season inside the NAIA Men's Soccer Top 25 Postseason Poll.  Bethel (TN) finished the season ranked 10th, LSU Shreveport finished ranked 12th, and Ottawa (KS) finished the year in 15th.

WBU will open the season with the first of eight consecutive road games against Texas A&M-Texarkana on August 22.  The road trip continues against William Carey (Aug. 29), LSU-Shreveport (Sept. 2), Blue Mountain Christian (Sept. 5), Ottawa (Sept. 12), Ozarks (MO) (Sept. 15), and Bethel (Sept. 19) before the Eagles close out the road stretch against Freed-Hardeman (Sept. 21).

Williams will play its first home game of the season on Sept. 23 against Central Bible, then take on Paul Quinn at home on Sept. 26 in the non-conference finale.

The Eagles will open up American Midwest Conference play on Oct. 3 on the road against Harris-Stowe State.  WBU will return home for its final two home games of the season against Hannibal-LaGrange on Oct. 10 and Columbia on Oct. 13.

Williams will travel to face Mission on Oct. 20, then conclude the regular season on the road against Central Baptist on Oct. 27.

The quarterfinal round of the American Midwest Conference Tournament is set for Nov. 4.  The semifinals will take place on Nov. 7, and the AMC championship game will be on Nov. 10.  Each game will be hosted on campus sites by the higher seed.
