Da Silva Tabbed AMC Offensive Player of the Week

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (10/27/25) – Williams Baptist University men's soccer senior Ricardo Da Silva was named American Midwest Conference Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in week nine of the season, the league office announced Monday afternoon.

Da Silva led the Eagles offense with two goals in a 5-1 victory over Central Baptist on Tuesday, Oct. 21.  The Vitoria, Brazil native converted what proved to be a game-winning penalty kick in the 32nd minute, then added an insurance goal in the 80th minute to help put the match away.

Da Silva is tied for the third most goals in the AMC this season at five.  He also leads the conference in total shots with 32.

This is the third consecutive week an Eagle has won either Offensive or Defensive Player of the Week at the conference level.  Da Silva is the sixth unique Eagle to win a weekly award this season.

Williams will return to the pitch on Tuesday, Oct. 28 for Senior Day against Mission.  Kick-off against the Patriots is set for 1 p.m., with Senior Day festivities set to begin at 12:30.
