Obradors Captures Second Straight AMC Player of the Week Honor

Jacobo Obradors captured his second consecutive American Midwest Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week award after leading after a hatrick and collecting seven points in a pair of games this week for Williams Baptist University.

Obradors collected a hatrick in the Eagles 5-1 win over Blue Mountain College on Saturday and also added an assist in the game as Williams improved its record to 3-2 on the season. The senior from Madrid, Spain now leads the AMC with five goals on the year and ranks among the leaders in assists and shots on goals. 

WBU returns to action Tuesday, Sept. 12 for a non-conference tilt with Bethel at 3 p.m. at Eagle Soccer Field.

WBU is a private, Christian university in Walnut Ridge.
