Eagles Fall in 2OT to CBC in AMC Tournament

The Eagles took the early lead when Jacobo Obradors fired home a pass from Alfonso Madrigal in the 19th minute. From there, the Eagles played solid defense and kept trying to add to their lead, but were unsuccessful. 

The Mustangs were able to find the equalizer with ten minutes left in regular time. 

The score remained tied after 90 minutes were played, so they went into a 10-minute overtime period. That wasn't enough time for either team to break the deadlock, so they headed to a second 10-minute period. It was in the dying moments of this period that the Mustangs were able to find the game winner off a free-kick that Alejandro Perez saw slip through his fingers. 

The Eagles outshot the Mustangs 12-8 and each had 4 shots on goal. 

Perez played the entire game in the net for the Eagles and had two saves in the game.
