The first half between the Eagles and the Cougars was a tight one, with neither team really able to find much on the offensive side.
In the second half, the Cougars were able to score two goals, six minutes apart, to take a 2-0 lead.
The Eagles responded in the 65th minute when Lucas Camilo fired home a shot from Thayrone Cazeca to bring the Eagles back within one. The Eagles had a few chances in the dying minutes of the game to tie it up, including a free kick from Cazeca just outside the 18 yard box, but the goalie was able to corral the ball easily.
Alejandro Perez made one save in the game and allowed two goals.
