It was a tight, tense game that saw any time the Eagles would take the lead, the Mustangs would respond with a goal of their own.
The Eagles took the lead in the ninth minute when Jacobo Obrador scored. Then the Mustangs responded in the 13th minute to tie the game.
The Eagles retook the lead in the 30th minute when Emmanuel Devolder headed home a ball from Lucas Camilo off a corner kick. Again, the Mustangs responded to tie the game.
Obrador, again, gave the Eagles the lead in the 74th minute, but, yet again, the Mustangs tied the game and forced overtime.
The first 10 minute overtime period wasn't enough, but the Mustangs found the winner four minutes into the second overtime period.
Alejandro Perez made two saves in the game.
