Mazega's Brace Paces Eagles Past Evangel
Mazega got the scoring started when he slotted home a pass from Tobias Doogs in the 21st minute. Gabriel Di Mauro added the second in the 32nd minute when he knocked home a rebound off the Crusader's keeper.
A minute later, Mazega got his second goal when he flicked home a pass from Emmanuel Devolder. To round out the scoring in the first half, Gabriel Alencar scored off a free kick that he put in the top left corner so that the keeper couldn't reach it.
Thayrone Cazeca added the fifth just two minutes into the second half off a pass from Hugo Gil.
The Crusaders got their only goal in 57th minute.
In all, the Eagles had 18 shots with 12 being on goal. Cazeca and Mazega led the team with 3 shots on goal, while Alencar had two.
Alejandro Perez and Harrison Gailey both played 45 minutes in the goal for the Eagles, with Gailey allowing the goal. The defense for the Eagles allowed only the one shot on goal.
