ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Williams men's basketball team defeated the Missouri Baptist Spartans 78-70 on Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles led from the get-go, and had to withstand multiple runs from the Spartans, but never gave up the lead.
Williams shot 41.2% from the field (28-68), 40.9% from the three-point line (9-22), and 72.2% from the free-throw line (13-18).
Ben Keton led all scorers with 25 points, including seven three-pointers. Jayvon Clark finished with 12 points, while Duke Hardin had 11.
Isaiah Thompson led the team with 10 rebounds.
