Cold Second Half Dooms Eagles Against Gorloks

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Williams men's basketball team fell on the road at NCAA DIII Webster University 82-73 on Thursday night.

The Eagles had a strong first half from Ben Keton, who seemingly couldn't miss a shot. Keton scored 21 of his points in the first half. The Eagles went into halftime with a 44-40 lead. 

Webster came out strong in the second half and outscored the Eagles 42-29. 

Williams shot 37.9% from the field (25-66), 32% from the three-point line (8-25), and 71.4% from the free-throw line (15-21). 

Keton led the team with 25 points. Isaiah Thompson finished with 19 points, while Duke Hardin had 11. 

Thompson led the team on the boards with seven.

The Eagles travel to Hannibal, Mo. on Saturday, Dec. 10 for a matchup against Hannibal-LaGrange. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m.
