WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. - The Williams men's basketball team started their season off with a bang as they blew out the Central Christian College of the Bible Saints, 118-53.
The Eagles started the game on a 29-0 run and never looked back from there. They led 63-29 at halftime and scored another 55 points in the second half.
Five Eagles ended in double-figures. Ben Keton led all scorers with 19 points after knocking down five three-pointers. Duke Hardin had 16 points, Jayvon Clark had 14, DJ Townsend had 13, and TJ Clardy had 10.
Clard led the team on the boards with seven.
The Eagles shot 58.2% from the field (46-79), 45.5% from the three-point line (15-33), and 91.7% from the free-throw line (11-12).
