Eagles Fall To Hosts At Martin Methodist Classic

PULASKI, Tenn. - The Eagles fell to the Redhawks of Martin Methodist in their first game of the Martin Methodist Classic.

The Eagles scored the first points of the game, but that was the only time they led. The Redhawks quickly imposed their will and forced 16 Eagles' turnovers en route to a 47-16 lead going into halftime. Williams was able to protect the ball better in the second half and outscored the Redhawks 34-27, but were unable to close the gap.

Brian Davis (SR/Chicago, Ill.) led all scorers with 17 points and Cortez King (SR/Chicago, Ill.) also had 16. Davis also led the team with 6 rebs.
