Williams took its first lead of the game in the next inning when Lawson Aaron singled to score Will Riley to go up 2-1.

The Trojans rallied in the sixth with four runs to take back the lead, cashing in on walks and wild pitches, and ending the frame with a two-run single to go ahead 5-2.

The Eagles had chances to win the game in the seventh and eighth, but failed to cash in both times.  Cade Parks singled to center to lead off the ninth, advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt from Gavin Mink, and came around to score the game-winning run after two wild pitches to give WBU the win in extras.
