WBU Volleyball Announces 2026 Schedule
WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (6/15/26) – The Williams Baptist University volleyball team has announced its 2026 season schedule, the program announced Monday afternoon.
After an intrasquad scrimmage inside the Southerland-Mabee Center on August 13, the Lady Eagles will begin the 2026 campaign with a neutral site matchup against Rust in Paragould, Ark., on Tuesday, August 18.
WBU will travel to Butte, Mont. for the Big Sky Challenge hosted by Montana State-Northern on August 20 and 21 before kicking off the home schedule with four games in the NEA Classic tournament on August 28 and 29.
Williams opens September with a non-conference matchup against Lyon on the road before traveling to Henderson, Tenn., for the FHU Labor Day Classic hosted by Freed-Hardeman on Sept. 4 and 5.
The Lady Eagles begin their American Midwest Conference slate at home on Friday, Sept. 11 against Harris-Stowe, followed by a doubleheader against Cottey and Freed-Hardeman on the 12th. WBU will make the trip to Hannibal-LaGrange on Sept. 17, then face Stephens and Columbia in Columbia, Mo. on Sep. 19.
Williams will travel to McKenzie, Tenn. to face Bethel in a non-conference bout on Sept. 22 before returning to Walnut Ridge to host UHSP on Sept. 25, then conclude September on the road at Central Baptist on the 29th.
WBU hosts Columbia on Friday, Oct. 2, then Hannibal-LaGrange and Cottey on Saturday, Oct. 3. The Lady Eagles travel to Paragould, Ark. to face Crowley's Ridge on Oct. 6 before taking on Ozarks (Ark.) in a neutral site match in Arkadelphia, Ark., on Oct. 7.
Williams will face Harris-Stowe and Mission on Oct. 17 in Columbia, Mo., then travel to Little Rock to face Philander Smith on Oct. 20. The squad will travel to Conway, Ark. for its final conference pod weekend against UHSP and Central Baptist on Oct. 24.
The Lady Eagles finish out the non-conference slate at home against Lyon on Tuesday, Oct. 27, travel to face Stephens on Oct. 31, then finish out the home schedule on Nov. 3 against Crowley's Ridge. WBU will face Mission in the final game of the regular season on Nov. 5 in Springfield, Mo.
The American Midwest Conference Tournament is set for Nov. 13 and 14 in Joplin, Mo.
