Lady Eagles Sweep Hornets For First Win of Season

The first set was pretty close until it 18-16 Williams and the Lady Eagles went on 6-0 to lead 23-16 before winning the set 25-18.

In the second set, the Lady Eagles were down early 8-3 and then 13-7 before going on a 9-2 run to take a one point lead. It was close the rest of the set and Williams went on to win 25-21.

The third set saw the Lady Eagles lead 17-4 before the Hornets mounted a run of their own to bring it closer, but Williams was able to put it away 25-18. 

Molly Henson led the squad with 11 kills, followed by Monica Guerrero with eight and Morgan Feltrop with six. 

Sydney Burgin had 14 assists, while Kayla Harp had 12. 

Elaine Blackmon had 20 digs on the night.
