In the first game on Friday against Randall University, the Lady Eagles lost in straight sets (25-14, 25-16, 25-13). Monica Guerrero, Krista Jones, Haven Wills, and Molly Henson all had two kills, while Alonna Thomas and Ryan Sanders had one. Thomas had five assists and Kayla Harp had three. Thomas also led the team in digs with eight.
In the second game against Paul Quinn College, the Lady Eagles won the first set 25-21, but dropped the next three 25-19, 25-22, and 25-19. Henson led the team with 13 kills, while Guerrero, Jones, and Sanders had seven. Harp led the team with 26 assists, while Guerrero led the team with 11 digs.
In the final game on the tournament against the hosts Science & Arts (Okla.) on Saturday morning, the Lady Eagles fell in straight sets 25-17, 25-16, and 26-24. Henson led the squad with six kills, while Harp led with 10 assists. Guerrero and Harp both led the team with 11 digs apiece.

The Lady Eagles are next in action on Aug. 27-28 as they travel up to Marshall, Mo. to participate in the Missouri Valley Viking Invitational. On the 27th, they play Presentation College at 3 p.m. and Morningside at 7 p.m. On the 28th, they play Cumberland at 1 p.m. and Benedictine at 5 p.m.
