WBU Women’s Soccer Unveils 2026 Schedule
WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (7/6/26) – Fresh off its highest win total in program history in 2025, the Williams Baptist University women's soccer team has announced its 2026 slate of matches.
WBU will look to replicate its 2025 success in the upcoming season, led by 2025 American Midwest Conference Coach of the Year Daniel Carney.
The Lady Eagles will begin the season on Aug. 22 on the road at Texas A&M-Texarkana. WBU will welcome in Evangel on Aug. 29 for its home opener, then follow up at home against Lyon (Sep. 2).
Williams heads back on the road against Blue Mountain Christian (Sep. 5), then returns to Walnut Ridge to face Louisiana Christian (Sep. 7) before heading back out for a three-game road swing against Freed-Hardeman (Sep. 10), Ottawa (KS) (Sep. 12), and Hendrix (Sep. 16).
WBU will return home on Sep. 19 to face Brescia, then face a big road test in the non-conference road finale against No. 19 Cumberland on Sep. 22. The Lady Eagles will close out the non-conference schedule on Sep. 26 at home against Paul Quinn.
Williams will open up American Midwest Conference play on the road against Harris-Stowe on Oct. 3. The next week they will welcome in Hannibal-LaGrange on Oct. 10, then host No. 25 Columbia on Oct. 13.
The Lady Eagles will travel to face Stephens (Oct. 16) and Mission (Oct. 20) in a two-match road swing before returning to Walnut Ridge for its final regular season home game against UHSP on Oct. 24. WBU will conclude the regular season on the road at Central Baptist on Oct. 27.
The quarterfinal round of the American Midwest Conference Tournament is scheduled for Nov. 3. The semifinals will take place Nov. 6, and the championship game will be on Nov. 9. Each game will be hosted on campus sites by the higher seed.
