Harness Takes Fifth Career Win at CBC Spring Invitational

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (3/19/26) – Williams Baptist University women's golf senior Kendra Harness won her program-leading fifth tournament as the Lady Eagles claimed first place at the CBC Spring Invitational at Cypress Creek Golf Club in Cabot, Ark. earlier this week.

As a team, WBU posted a two-round total of 692 (367-325) for its third tournament win of the 2025-26 season.  The Lady Eagles finished 48 strokes ahead of tournament host Central Baptist in the win.

Kendra Harness carded a two-round total of 159 (86-73) in her fifth career individual win.  Harness rose three places on day two after posting the second-lowest round in program history, one stroke off her own record.  

Grace Woody followed up tied for second place with a score of 166 (84-82) to keep the momentum for WBU.  

Katie Fish posted a top-ten finish with a two-round score of 180 (96-84).  Fish shaved twelve strokes off her round one score to rise three places on day two for a ninth place finish.

Mariana Bonilla carded a two-round total of 187 (101-86) in a tie for 13th place, and Gabi Harmon rounded out the scoring for WBU with a two-round total of 217 (105-112).

Gracielee Edwards competed in the event as an individual and posted a 230 (114-116) to finish in 18th place.

Williams will return to the course on March 23-24 for the AMC Preview at Cooper's Hawk Golf Club in Melbourne, Ark.
