Ellis Tabbed NAIA Third Team All-American

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (3/30/26) – Williams Baptist University women's basketball senior Cha'Myrean Ellis was named to the NAIA All-American Third Team, the national office announced Monday morning.

The Carthage, Miss. native led WBU in scoring with 19.6 points per game. Ellis was also second on the team with 6.2 rebounds per game.

In addition to her team-leading stats, Ellis led the American Midwest Conference in made field goals with 236 and points per 40 minutes with 29.1. She also finished top five in the league in FG% (53.4), total offensive rebounds (93), and made free throws (113).

Ellis was named AMC Player of the Year, AMC Newcomer of the Year, and an AMC All-Conference player.

The senior led WBU to 24 wins and its third consecutive NAIA Tournament appearance.  

This is the second consecutive season WBU has had a player named NAIA All-American, following Carmen Taylor in 2024-25.  Ellis is the 11th All-American in program history.
