Ellis Named AMC Offensive Player of the Week

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (2/9/26) – Williams Baptist University senior Cha'Myrean Ellis has been named American Midwest Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the fourth time this season, the league office announced Monday afternoon.

Ellis led the Lady Eagles to a 3-0 week on the road, with wins over Crowley's Ridge, Stephens, and UHSP.  The Carthage, Miss. native averaged 23.7 points per game on a 61.2 percent clip from the field.  

Ellis tied the record for field goals made in a game on Saturday vs. UHSP with 15 behind a 34-point effort in a 109-90 win for Williams.  Kaylee Isaacs and Carmen Taylor are the other two Lady Eagles to knock down 15 field goals in a single game.

Ellis put up 22 in WBU's 80-78 win over Stephens on Thursday, and 15 points in 13 minutes against Crowley's Ridge on Tuesday.

Ellis leads the AMC in field goals made this season with 181.  She also ranks fourth in points per game and fifth in field goal percentage.

Ellis and the Lady Eagles return to the home floor on Thursday, Feb. 12 against Harris-Stowe.  Tipoff against the Hornets is set for 5:30 p.m. from inside the Southerland-Mabee Center.
