Ellis Tabbed AMC Offensive Player of the Week

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (11/10/25) –  Williams Baptist University senior Cha'Myrean Ellis has been named the American Midwest Conference Offensive Player of the Week for her performance in week two of the season, the league office announced Monday afternoon.

Ellis averaged 24.5 points per game across two contests for the Lady Eagles last week. Against Saint Mary, the Carthage, Miss. native scored 23 points on 8-of-11 shooting.

On Saturday, Ellis followed with 26 points on 12-of-20 shooting and 10 rebounds in a dominant 71-47 victory over William Woods.

Through the first two weeks of the season, Ellis ranks ninth in the conference with 16.3 points per game.

The Lady Eagles return to the home floor Saturday, Nov. 15, to host Arkansas Baptist. Tipoff against the Buffaloes is set for 3 p.m. inside the Southerland-Mabee Center.
