Taylor Twins Selected to AMC All-Tournament Team

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (3/6/25) – Williams Baptist University women's basketball seniors Carmen Taylor and Charmen Taylor were selected to the American Midwest Conference All-Tournament Team for their individual performances in the postseason, the league announced on Thursday morning.

Charmen Taylor tied the WBU record for points scored in a game when she dropped 40 in WBU's 106-92 overtime win against Stephens in the semifinals. She also scored 16 against Columbia in the finals. 

Carmen Taylor scored a total of 74 points across the three games, highlighted by a 35-point outing in the semifinal win against Stephens in overtime.

The All-Tournament Team was selected by the eight tournament-qualifying coaches.

Williams earned an automatic bid to the NAIA Tournament after securing the AMC's regular season title.  The Lady Eagles will learn their first round opponent during the NAIA Women's Basketball Selection Show at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Mar. 6 on the NAIA Network.
