Williams Softball Lands Thirteen on Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete List

LOUISVILLE, Ky.  (8/7/25) – Thirteen Williams Baptist University softball players were named Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association Scholar-Athletes, the NFCA announced Thursday.

The honor recognizes the academic excellence of student-athletes across all levels of collegiate softball around the country.  Student-athletes that earn a 3.5 grade point average or higher are recognized with the award.

"These honors are a really big deal for us as a program," said WBU head coach Jessica Nutt.  "What you do in the classroom matters and it is a major part of our culture here at Williams.  I am extremely proud of our student-athletes."
