Eagles Cross Country Announces 2025 Schedule

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (8/5/25) – The Williams Baptist University Cross Country program has announced its 2025 slate of races under first-year head coach Jennifer Mathis.

"I am so excited to get started with this team and begin to build something special," said Mathis.  "This group of athletes is hungry to compete and I cannot wait to tackle this schedule."

WBU will begin the season on Aug. 30 at the Memphis Twilight Classic in Memphis, Tenn., then travel to Batesville, Ark. on Sep. 5 for the Lyon College Invitational.

The Eagles will take on the Blue Mountain Topper Trails Classic in Blue Mountain, Miss. on Sep. 27 before travelling to Clarksville, Ark. for the University of the Ozarks Invitational (Oct. 11) for one final pre-conference tune-up.

Williams will conclude the regular season at the American Midwest Conference Cross Country Championships in St. Louis, Mo. on Nov. 6.  The NAIA National Championship meet is scheduled for Nov. 21 in Tallahassee, Fla., should the Eagles qualify.
