WBU Picked Fifth in AMC Preseason Men's Cross Country Poll

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (8/29/24) – The Williams Baptist University men's cross country team was picked to finish fifth in the American Midwest Conference preseason coach's poll released on Thursday.

WBU received 21 points in the poll.  Columbia and William Woods tied for first, both with 38 points and three first place votes.  

Williams finished fifth in the AMC Championship Meet last season, with an average finish time of 37:06.

Eagles Cross Country will kick off the season on Friday, Sept. 6 at the Lyon College Invitational in Batesville, Ark.
