Eagles Fall to Ouachita in First Dual of the Season

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (11/12/25) – The Williams Baptist University wrestling team lost its first dual of the season to DII No. 25 Ouachita Baptist 43-3 inside the Southerland-Mabee Center on Wednesday night.

The lone Eagle win came in the 141 weight class when Landon Holmes took an 11-9 decision win to cut the Tiger lead to 10-3. 

OBU took three wins by fall, and three by major decision.  WBU managed 14 escape points in the dual.

The loss drops the Eagles to 0-1 in duals on the season.  The Eagles will be back in action on Saturday, Nov. 15 at the Drury Open in Springfield, Mo.
