Eagles Swim Great Times at Principia Quad Meet

Kaleb Shive is one who fought hard to reclaim his status at the top of the podium before nationals. Breaking his own record in the 100 Back with a 51.00 inching himself one step closer to a National title. Kaleb was also able to claim the 200 Back record(1:57.35) and 100 free(48.35), as well as, lifetime bests in the 100 fly and 200 IM.
Jonathan Santibanez finally claimed the record he had been hunting in the 50(28.92) and 100 Breast(1:01.55.) He is still hunting the illustrious 200 Breast record after winning the meet but Hayden Vernon is right on the track for the record as well.
The last individual record breaker of the meet was Szymon Gilzynski who claimed 4 Individual records at this meet and reclaimed his spot at the top of the podium before nationals. Szymon was able to break the 50 Fly (23.67), 100 Fly (50.31), and 200 fly(1:54.43) record as well as the 200 IM(1:58.61). 
 
The Eagles were also able to break 4 Relay Records
200 Freestyle Relay of Gilzynski, Lawson, McClain and Shive claimed the record and gold in a time of 1:28.94
400 Freestyle Relay of Shive, Gilzynski, Lawson and McClain won and claimed another record with a 3:17.67
200 Medley Relay of Shive, Santibanez, Gilzynski, and Lawson yet again won and broke another record with a 1:39.24
400 Medley Relay of Shive, Santibanez, Gilzynski, and McClain smashed the previous record with a 3:35.44
 
The Eagles meet scores were as follows:
WBU 224.00-Sterling College Warriors 67.00
WBU 243.00-Principia College 20.00
WBU 234.00- Lincoln College 25.00
 
Coach Todd when asked about the meet said, "I am beyond proud of the performances of the team. We have worked hard for this and it shows. We came together as a family and swam our hearts out!"
