WBU Men’s Soccer Cancels Season Opener in St. Louis Due to Extreme Temperatures
The Williams Baptist University men's soccer team has announced the cancellation of its season opening match, originally scheduled for Thursday, August 24th, against Benedictine College. The match was slated to be played at the campus of Missouri Baptist University. The decision to cancel was driven by concerns over the predicted extreme temperatures in the St. Louis area.
The WBU Eagles will now launch their season on Saturday, August 26th, in St. Louis, as they face off against Midland at noon.
