Eagles Open Spring Slate at Columbia Spring Invitational
COLUMBIA, Mo. (3/11/26) – The Williams Baptist University men's golf team kicked off its spring season at the Columbia College Spring Invitational this week at Columbia Country Club.
WBU finished 5th out of 10 teams in the event with a total score of 618. William Woods won the event with a 577 stroke total, and event host Columbia finished second with a 601 total score.
Jack Pierce led the way for the Eagles in a tie for 19th place with a two-round total of 151. Kaleb McClain followed up in a tie for 26th place with a total of 153.
Curren Bounds finished tied for 34th place with a 155 score, and Ian Ellison finished tied for 46th with a 159.
Grant Wilson rounded out the team in 56th place with a two-round card of 164. Cameron Jackson competed as an individual in the event, finishing tied for 62nd with a two-round total of 169.
The Eagles return to the links on Monday, March 16 for the CBC Spring Invitational at Cypress Creek Golf Club in Cabot, Ark., hosted by Central Baptist.
