Harness, Bounds Sweep AMC Golfer of the Week

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (10/20/25) – Williams Baptist University golfers Curren Bounds and Kendra Harness were named the American Midwest Conference Men's and Women's Golfers of the week, respectively, the league announced Monday afternoon.

Harness took the gold medal at the CBC Fall Invite for her first win of the season.  She won the tournament for the second year in a row behind a two-round total of 163, leading the Lady Eagles to their second team tournament victory this season.

Harness is the third Lady Eagle to be named AMC Golfer of the Week this year, joining Katie Fish (week three) and Grace Woody (week six).

On the men's side, Bounds took silver at the CBC Fall Invite behind a three-round card of 221.  He sat in first place in the event after turning in a 69 in his second round.  The Eagles finished second in the tournament, just one stroke behind host Central Baptist.

Williams will take its winter break, then return to the links in the spring.  The spring schedule is currently to be announced.
