WBU Men’s Golf Competes at AMC Championship

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (4/30/24) - The Williams Baptist men's golf team concluded competition in the American Midwest Conference golf championship at Jefferson City Country Club Tuesday afternoon. 

The Eagles finished fourth with a three round score of 931 (+67), with Columbia winning the event with a score of 857 (-7). Central Baptist College finished second with a total of 889 (+25), followed by William Woods at 906 (+42).

Individually, Tyler Parr finished tied for 12th with a three-round score of 231 (+15), while Thibau DeLange tied for 15th at 233 (+17). Quinn Crosskno tied for 17th with a score of 234 (+18), while Dawson McMahan carded a 238 (+22) to finish in 24th.

Other scores included Carrington Reid finishing in 28th place with a 243 (+27), while Curren Bounds tied for 27th with a 246 (+30). Kaleb McClain rounded out the scoring in 33rd place with a three-round total of 254 (+54).

In addition the postseason awards were announced with Parr being named Second Team All-Conference, while DeLange was an AMC Honorable Mention All-Conference pick. Crosskno was selected to league's Champions of Character squad, and was also named to the AMC Academic team with DeLange.
