Matthews, Eagles Win MAC Tournament

PARK HILLS, Mo. - The Williams men's golf team won the Mineral Area College golf tournament on Tuesday, after playing 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. Chance Matthews went 4 under on his last nine holes to win medalist honors after starting day two in fifth place.

Matthews finished with a total score of 227, with round scores of 77, 81, and 69. Jacob Webb finished in 5th place with a total score of 233, with round scores of 80, 78, 75. Viktor Haglund finished in 6th place with a total score of 236, with round scores of 78, 81, 77. Tyler Parr finished tied for 7th with a total score of 237, with round scores of 82, 82, and 73. Francois Helias finished tied for 13th with a total score of 239, with round scores of 83, 80, and 76. Quinn Crosskno finished tied for 24th with a total score of 249, with round scores of 89, 84, and 76. Josh Uhlenhop finished in 27th with a total score of 250, with round scores of 84, 83, and 83. Jordan Haynes finished in 30th place with a total score of 252, with round scores of 83, 90, and 79. Walker Hibbs finished in 42nd place with a total score of 301, with round scores of 102, 101, and 98.
