Parks, Cloud, Brinkley Named to AMC All-Tournament Team

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (5/5/26)  – Cade Parks, Dawson Cloud, and Connor Brinkley were all named to the American Midwest Conference Baseball All-Tournament Team, the conference office announced Tuesday morning.

The three players played integral parts in WBU's run to its first AMC Tournament title game appearance in program history.

Parks paved the way for the Eagles on offense in the tournament with .542 AVG in 24 at-bats.  Parks slugged three doubles, a triple, a home run, and drove in 10 RBI to lead the team in the tournament.

On the mound, Dawson Cloud pitched 14.0 innings with a 2.57 ERA.  Cloud picked up a complete-game win against UHSP and tossed 5.0 strong innings in the second game against Columbia.  

Connor Brinkley did not allow a run in his 4.2 innings of relief in the tournament.  He closed the door with the final two outs of game one against Columbia, then clinched a winning decision two days later against those same Cougars with 4.0 shutout innings in relief where he fanned five to send Williams to the title game.

WBU finished the 2026 season with a 31-19 overall record, tying the single-season program high set in 2001.
