Four Eagles Land on AMC All-Conference Teams
OZARK, Mo. (4/26/26) – Four Williams Baptist University baseball players were named to the American Midwest Conference All-Conference Teams for their performances during the 2026 season, the league announced at the AMC Baseball Awards Banquet on Sunday night.
Skylar Morrison and Lawson Aaron were both named to the AMC All-Conference First Team.
Morrison landed on the first team in an outfield slot after a monster season where he hit .367 with a .683 SLG%. Morrison went yard 11 times, tying the single-season record at WBU and setting a new career record for home runs at Williams.
Aaron, a utility infielder for WBU, swung for a .336 average with four home runs and 42 RBI's in 45 games for the Eagles.
Connor Brinkley and Gavin Mink each landed on the AMC All-Conference Second Team.
Brinkley hit for a .308 average with three home runs, 19 RBI's, and 11 stolen bases. Mink swung for a .363 average with 10 doubles and 28 RBI's while swiping 17 bags. Mink also became the new career leader in runs scored at WBU this season with a total of 127.
Connor Brinkley was also named to the AMC Gold Glove Team at shortstop. The Marion, Ark. native posted a fielding percentage of .952 up the middle for the Eagles.
Rounding out the awards, Luke Bullins was named as WBU's representative to the AMC Champions of Character Team. The award recognizes student-athletes who best represent the NAIA's Five Core Values of Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, and Servant Leadership.
Williams will kick off the postseason in the first game of the AMC Tournament on Monday, April 27 against UHSP. First pitch against the Eutectics is set for noon from Ozark Mountain Sports Complex in Ozark, Mo.
