Mink Selected to Natural State Baseball All-Arkansas Collegiate Team

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (6/7/23) – Williams Baptist baseball infielder Gavin Mink was selected to Natural State Baseball's 2024 All-Arkansas Collegiate Team on Thursday morning, while Noah Willingham and Tyrell Burnett earned Honorable Mention honors.

The All-Arkansas Collegiate Team is designed to honor the best players across all levels of collegiate baseball in the state of Arkansas.

Mink was the starting second baseman and lead-off hitter for a WBU team that won at least 30 games in a season for the first time since 2001 and finished third in the American Midwest Conference Tournament.

Mink earned the second base spot on the All-Arkansas team after batting .357 on the season with 10 doubles and four homers, while driving in 47 runs for the Eagles.

Mink joins other collegiate standouts on the team such as Arkansas' Hagen Smith and Little Rock's Jacob Weatherley.

Noah Willingham and Tyrell Burnett also earned Honorable Mentions for their performances in 2024.  Burnett set a new single-season school record for home runs with 11, and Willingham tied for the second most strikeouts in a season in school history with 86.
