MARSHALL, Texas - The Williams baseball team dropped their Friday contest 3-2 to Wiley College.
The Eagles plated two runs in the fifth inning to open the scoring. Jarron Brantley hit a RBI groundout and then Nicholas Jones hit a RBI single.
Wiley responded with a run in the fifth and then a two-run homerun in the sixth.
Noah Willingham pitched all 6.0 innings for the Eagles. He allowed three runs off seven hits and struck out two.
The Eagles collected five hits in the game and committed two errors.
