ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Williams baseball team took two games out three against the Harris-Stowe State Hornets this past Thursday and Friday. The Eagles swept the doubleheader on Thursday winning 5-3 and 11-7. They fell just short in Friday's contest, falling 8-7. The Eagles are now 14-9 overall and 2-1 in conference play.
Highlights
- Wyatt LeDure led the team with four RBIs, while Sam Philley, Isaac Williams, Nick Allred and Dezmond Cordova all had three.
- Philley and Allred both hit doubles, Cordova hit a triple, and Williams hit a three-run homerun.
- Spencer Burnham led the pitching staff with seven strikeouts, while Ray Ochoa and Blake Simmons had four.

Williams hosts (RV) Columbia this weekend for a three-game series. They will play a doubleheader on Friday and a single game on Saturday.
