19 WBU Spring Student-Athletes Earn NAIA Scholar-Athlete Award
WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (5/4/26) – Nineteen Williams Baptist University spring student-athletes earned the NAIA Scholar-Athlete award, the NAIA national office announced last week.
WBU baseball, softball, men's golf, and women's golf each landed multiple student-athletes on the NAIA Scholar-Athlete list. Baseball led the way with eight, softball posted six, men's golf added three, and women's golf had two.
To qualify as an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year.
