Here is CJ’s blog about us getting to Wichita and our escape room experience (might I say very biased!):

What’s up everybody, it’s Cj coming at you from the NAIA Wrestling National Championship’s trip. We arrived in Witchita, Kansas late Wednesday afternoon, got settled in the hotel, and then went to the venue for our first practice. After practice we got cleaned up, went and ate some burritos, and then headed to an escape room for a nice, friendly competition split into 3 teams in 3 different rooms. Just a little something to help the guys somewhat relax and take their minds off of wrestling before the biggest tournament of the season begins on Friday morning. I say nice and friendly, but you know we had to make a testosterone-filled competition out of it. The rooms we did were ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in difficulty level and all three teams escaped. However, one team did dominate above the rest. Nick Drendel, Aj Bindner, Devon Amburgy, Nick Souder, and I (CJ Cara) came out the most victorious with the 3rd most difficult room in 41 minutes and 6 seconds. The other teams will try to claim they were the best, but we don’t believe lies. All of that aside, we all had a blast and I know the guys competing this weekend really enjoyed not having to worry about cutting weight or wrestling for an hour.
